Spring!

Well Spring is officially here and I am thrilled.  I am so happy that the kids can play outside, that the weather is warming up and that the bulbs I planted last fall are beginning to bloom.  I love planting bulbs.  I love the surprise that comes in the spring, since I can never remember what I actually planted.  I also love bulbs, because they are one of the few things I can grow and not kill.

I was so worried that my hydrangea wouldn't come back.  Seeing this little leaf had me doing a happy dance.  

These are some of my new flowers that I totally forgot that I planted.  I saw these little mini irises at Red Butte Gardens last spring and knew that I had to have them in my garden.  I was so happy when they bloomed this spring.
